A villa lawn is the largest area, so the base and the drainage matter most. We remove the old surface where needed, level and compact the base, edge the lawn against paving and planting beds, and adjust or cap the irrigation lines that served the old grass. Balconies and terraces

Balconies and terraces sit on slabs and tiles, so the grass lies over a flat surface with a clear drainage path. Grass selection and written quote

We recommend the grass for the use of the space and send a written quote based on the measured area.

Surface preparation

We remove the existing lawn or surface where needed. The result is a clear surface ready for the base.

Base and drainage

We level and compact the base and set the drainage path. The result is a firm, flat surface that water passes through.

Laying, seaming and edging

We lay the grass, join the seams and cut it to the shape of the space. The result is a continuous surface with fixed edges.

Infill and finishing

We brush the fibres and add infill where the grass needs it. The result is an upright, finished surface.

Can artificial grass be laid on soil, concrete or a rooftop?

Yes. Each surface needs its own base. Soil needs excavation, a compacted sub-base and drainage. Concrete and tiled terraces need a flat, draining surface and secure fixing. Rooftops add access, wind and roof drains. We confirm the right base for your space at the site visit.

Soil and lawns

Grass laid straight onto bare soil settles unevenly, lets weeds through and holds water. A compacted sub-base, a weed membrane and a clear drainage path prevent all three.

Concrete, slabs and terraces

A concrete or tiled surface is already firm, so the work focuses on flatness, drainage and fixing. We check the falls toward the outlets and fix the grass so the edges stay down.

Rooftops

A rooftop needs a surface that drains toward the roof outlets and a fixing method that suits wind exposure. We assess the roof, the access and the drains at the site visit.

Heat in summer

In direct summer sun, artificial grass becomes warm, as paving and decking do. Shade from trees, a wall or a shade structure lowers the surface temperature, and we place the grass with that in mind.
