Indoor Plant Maintenance (AMC) in Dubai
MasterMaint looks after indoor plants for offices, hotels, restaurants and commercial spaces in Dubai on a maintenance contract (AMC). A team visits on a schedule to check, water and prune your plants, and replaces plants that decline as agreed in your contract.
An AMC is a contract under which a team visits on a set schedule to look after live plants, so you do not have to manage them yourself. We are based in Warsan 3, Dubai.
- 350+ projects
- 15+ years team experience
- One team for supply, installation and care
- Free site visit

What is an indoor plant maintenance contract, and what do our services include?
An indoor plant maintenance contract (AMC) is an agreement for scheduled care of live plants. A technician visits your space on agreed days, checks every plant and carries out the care each one needs. Our indoor plant maintenance services in Dubai suit offices, hotels, restaurants and commercial spaces, and they sit beside our Indoor Plants in Dubai supply and installation service.
The contract starts with a site visit and runs on a written plan. Office plant maintenance and plant AMC work follow the same steps:
- Visit the space and survey the plants
- Plan the schedule and the care in writing
- Start with a full check of every plant
- Care for the plants on every scheduled visit
- Replace plants that decline, as agreed in your contract
Settings we contract with: offices and reception areas, hotels, restaurants, commercial spaces and villas.
What does a maintenance visit include?
A visit covers the checks a live plant needs. The exact list is written into your plan, and the plan reflects the plants in your space.
- Watering checks: each plant is checked and watered to its own need, not to a fixed calendar alone
- Pruning: dead or damaged leaves and stems are removed
- Pest checks: leaves and stems are checked for signs of pests
- Foliage cleaning: dust is removed from the leaves
- Irrigation checks: where plants use an irrigation line, we check it, see Irrigation Systems in Dubai
- Replacement: a plant that declines is replaced as agreed in your contract
Dubai buildings add their own conditions. Air conditioning dries the room and blows cold draughts, and many offices have little natural light. A plant near a vent or a window needs different checks from a plant in the middle of a room, so the technician sets the care for each plant by its position.
What is outside a maintenance visit?
A routine visit looks after the plants you have. Some work is agreed separately, so the contract stays clear:
- New plants: supply and installation of added plants, see Indoor Plants in Dubai
- Repotting and planters: a larger pot or a new planter is quoted as its own item
- Relocation: moving plants to another area of the building
- Major changes: a new layout or a new planting scheme
Agreeing these items separately means your regular visit price covers care, and any added work is written down before it starts.
How often do we visit?
Visits run on a schedule that suits your space. Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly visits are the usual options, and the right one depends on the number of plants, the light and the size of the space. We set the schedule in your written plan after the site visit.
Who looks after your plants?
The visits are carried out by technicians from the MasterMaint team. An indoor plant technician is a member of the team who visits to check, water, prune and clean the plants, and who reports on how each one is doing. The same team that supplied or surveyed your plants plans your contract, so the person who knows your space is the person who sets the care.
Our senior technician, Vinod M, leads the technical work on site, carries out inspections and prepares maintenance reports.
What happens when a plant declines?
A plant that declines is replaced on the terms of your contract. The technician records the problem at the visit, tells you what is wrong and what is needed, and arranges the replacement. We write the replacement terms into the plan, so you know before the contract starts what is covered.
Replacement terms: terms differ in the Dubai market. Some plant care plans include free replacement, while others charge replacement plants, pots and soil separately by plant type and size. Ask for the replacement terms in writing before you sign.
Can we look after plants from another supplier?
Plants supplied by another company can be added to a contract after a plant survey. The survey records the type and condition of each plant, and the plan reflects what we find.
Where does an indoor plant contract suit?
A maintenance contract suits any space where live plants stay in place and need regular care. The contract below is written around the space, not the other way round.
Offices and reception areas
Office plant maintenance keeps reception plants and desk-side plants looked after without your team having to manage them. Visits are arranged around working hours and building access.
Hotels and restaurants
Hotels and restaurants keep plants in lobbies, dining areas and corridors. Visits are arranged around service times, so the plants are cared for without disturbing guests.
Villas
Villa owners keep floor plants and statement plants in living rooms, entrances and bright corners. Visits are arranged around the household’s schedule, so the plants are cared for without disturbing family life.
For living wall care, see Living Green Walls in Dubai. For lawns, trees and outdoor planting, see Landscape & Garden Maintenance in Dubai.
How does an indoor plant maintenance contract start?
Every contract follows six stages, run by one MasterMaint team. The site visit starts the job, because the space and the plants decide the plan.
Site visit
We visit, note the areas, the light, the access and the building rules, and ask who your contact is. The site visit is free. You leave with the scope agreed.
Plant survey
We record the type and condition of every plant. The result is a plant list the plan is built on.
Written plan and quote
We send a written plan with the schedule, the visit inclusions and the contract term, and a quote based on it.
Agreement and schedule
We agree the start date, the visit days and the access arrangements.
Opening visit
The technician checks and cares for every plant and records the starting condition.
Scheduled visits
The technician follows the plan on every visit, with replacements as agreed.
Start time: published Dubai plant care services say a service can often start within one to two days of agreement. We confirm your start date in the written plan.
What is the contract term?
A maintenance contract runs for an agreed term and is renewed by agreement. We set the term in your written plan, so you know the length and the renewal before you sign.
In the Dubai market, plant care contracts are often written for 12 months, and monthly and one-off packages are also common. Your term and any minimum period are set in your written plan.
How much does indoor plant maintenance cost in Dubai?
The cost of indoor plant maintenance in Dubai depends on the number and type of plants, the visit schedule, the access to your space and the contract term. The guide below shows typical market prices. We confirm the exact price in a written quote after the site visit.
| Service | Typical market range (AED) |
|---|---|
| One visit a month | From about 120 a month |
| Two visits a month | From about 300 to 400 a month |
| Weekly visits | From about 500 a month |
| Two visits a week | From about 800 a month |
| Office plant maintenance plans | From about 500 a month |
| One-off care visit | About 120 to 320 |
| Repotting | From about 150 |
| Replacement plants | Priced by plant type and size |
These are market starting prices from published Dubai plant care services in 2026. They are not MasterMaint prices and not a quote.
What changes the price
- Number of plants: how many plants the contract covers
- Plant types and sizes: small desk plants, floor plants, large specimens
- Visit schedule: weekly, bi-weekly or monthly
- Access and location: floors, lifts, building rules
- Contract term: length of the agreement
- Extra work: replacements, repotting
Your quote lists each part, so you can see what the price covers. We do not publish a price list, because the price depends on the plants, the schedule and the site.
What are the common mistakes with plant maintenance contracts?
Most problems start with an unclear contract. Six mistakes appear most often:
- An unclear scope: the contract should list what a visit includes and what it does not
- No plant survey: the plan needs the type and condition of every plant
- A schedule that ignores light and position: a plant by a vent needs different care from a plant in a corner
- No replacement terms: the contract should say what happens when a plant declines
- Treating a declining collection as routine care: a plant in decline needs a decision, not just another visit
- No visit record: each visit should leave a note of what was done
A site visit and a written plan avoid all six.
