What changes the price
- Grass grade: pile height, density and backing set the material price
- Surface: soil needs excavation, a compacted sub-base and a weed membrane, while a flat slab needs less preparation
- Old lawn removal: stripping turf or breaking out a surface adds labour and disposal
- Area and shape: small areas and many curves cost more per square metre
- Seams and infill: larger areas need more joins and infill
- Access: balconies and rooftops add handling time
- Irrigation changes: capping or moving sprinklers that served the old lawn

Why do quotes differ so much?
