Updated October 2026
WPC decking in Dubai is priced by the square metre, but the board is only part of the cost. The substructure, the base preparation, the edges and the steps can add as much again. This guide sets out typical 2026 market prices.
Typical WPC decking prices in Dubai
These ranges are published by Dubai flooring and decking companies in 2026. They are a market guide, not MasterMaint prices.
| Item | Typical market range (AED per sqm) |
|---|---|
| Hollow WPC boards (material) | About 90 to 150 |
| Solid WPC boards (material) | About 250 to 300 |
| Installation labour | About 50 to 120, added to the material |
| Base preparation, levelling and drainage | About 30 to 70, where needed |
| Natural timber boards (for comparison) | About 250 to 600 |
As a simple example, a hollow-board deck with standard installation might come to roughly AED 140 to 270 per sqm before base work, and a solid-board deck roughly AED 300 to 420. These are our sums of the ranges above, not quotes.
What changes the price
- Board type: hollow boards cost less than solid or capped boards
- Colour and finish: premium colours and textured finishes cost more
- Substructure: aluminium or composite joists, adjustable pedestals on slabs
- Base: uneven slabs or ground need levelling and drainage
- Edges, fascia and steps: each adds cutting and trims
- Area and shape: small or irregular decks cost more per square metre
- Access: rooftops and balconies add handling time
How to compare quotes
- Board product, profile and colour
- Substructure material and spacing
- Base preparation and drainage
- Edges, fascia, steps and trims
- Removal of an existing surface
- Warranty on boards and installation
- Exclusions
If one quote is much cheaper, check the substructure and base first. These are the parts that keep a deck level.
